The Boy's POV:
One Day I Said " We Will See Each Other One Day, I Promise." Then I Left Her. I Never Went Back. I Want To Go Back But I Can't. I’m Sorry. I Wish I Could Go Back , But Just Thinking Of You Makes Me Sad. At School When I Think Of You I Get Sad And My Friends Ask, " Are You Ok ??" I Reply "Ya I’m Fine" I Put On A Fake Smile So They Wont Worry, But Really I’m Hurting Inside. In Our School Year Book I See Your Picture And Start Crying. I Read What You Signed On My Yearbook, "No Matter Where You Are Or Who You Become I Will Always Remember You. I Promise."
One Day I Went Back To The Old Neighborhood To See What Became Of It. Heh. Nothing's Changed. I Went By The Old Play Ground To See If 'Our' Tree Was Still There. Yes It Was Still There. I Looked Up And Remembered All The Fun Times We Had Before I Left And Broke My Promise. The More I Looked Up The More I Could See A Figure Sitting On One Of The Tree Branches Looking Up At The Sky And Crying. I Called Out To The Person " Are You Ok ?"
The Girl's POV:
I Went Back To The Play Ground Trying to Get Away From All The Mistakes I Made. Saw That 'Our' Yes 'OUR' Tree Was Empty. So Climbed On And Remember All The Good Times We Had Before Well What Happened.
"Hey come on I'll race you to the tree !!!!!" A 5 year boy said running to the tree. "Haha there is no way you're going to beat me this time !!!" 5 year old me said running besides him. We finally got to the tree. We took out our snacks and stared to eat them. "Hey.." I said while taking a bite out of the apple. He looked at me and asked "What is it ?" "Lets make this our tree !!!" He smiled and said "Ya that's an awesome idea !!!" We both laughed and continued to eat our snacks.
Nine years later. We were both in school thankfully we both had the same classes, but we sat at opposite sides of the class. He through me a paper it read "Meet me after school at our tree I need to tell you something." I looked at him and nodded.
-After School-
I went to our tree to see what he wanted to tell me. I sat in one of the branch waiting for him. After a few mins he came. "Can you come down please I need to tell you something." He said looking up at me. I climbed down from the branch, once I got back to ground I asked him " What’s up?". He just looked down. He sighed. He looked at me with sad eyes and said "I'm moving to another city." I stared at him with widened eye and asked "Why are you moving?" "My dad got a job out of town and its to far so we have to move." "Why cant you just say here stay with a relative or something !!!" I said sobbing. Then out of the blue he hugged me. My body just moved on its own I hugged him back. He never hugged me like this before. "So does this mean good bye ?" I said crying into his shirt. "No." I looked at him with widened eyes. "We Will See Each Other One Day, I Promise." I never saw him after that.
I Snapped Back To Reality When I Heard Someone Say "Are You Ok ?" I Looked Down To See Who Asked. Then I Saw Him.
The Boy's POV:
When The Person Looked Down My Heart Skipped A Beat. It Was Her. I Blinked Twice To See If I Was Imaging Her. No It Was Her. She Was My Closes Friend I Ever Had I Broke Our Promise. She Jumped Down From The Branch, It Was Her She Looked At Me And Started To Cry. My Body Just Moved I Hugged Her Like The Day I Left Her. I Looked Down At Her And Said " I’m Sorry I Broke My Promise." She Looked At Me And Said "No You Didn't You Promised We'd See Each Other Again And Well Here We Are". She Tugged At My Shirt I Saw That She Was Blushing. I Asked "What’s The Matter ?" She Looked At Me And Said "I Love You." My Face Heated Up , But Then Cooled Down. I Lifted Her Chin So That We Could See Eye To Eye. " I Love You Too."
